Abstract

Room cleanliness is important for a hotel, because it is one of the things that hotel guests pay attention to when staying. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of room cleanliness variables and guest satisfaction variables staying at Le Polonia Hotel Medan. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. This research was conducted at Le Polonia Hotel & Convention Medan, which is located at Jalan Jenderal Sudirman No. 14-18, Madras Hulu, Kec. Medan Polonia, Medan City, North Sumatra 20152. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques through the distribution of questionnaires (questionnaires). This type of research is obtained directly from the original source. The research data were taken from a number of samples. The influence of Room Cleanliness on Guest Satisfaction can be represented by the magnitude of the coefficient of determination R2 (R Square) which is 0.962, which means that the influence of the independent variable (X) on the dependent variable (Y) is 96.2% and the remaining 3.8%. influenced by other factors. variable room cleanliness can have a significant effect on variable guest satisfaction at Le Polonia Hotel.
