Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze work discipline and motivation on employee performance at Hotel Sinabung Hills Berastagi. The population of this study were all employees of the Sinabung Hills Berastagi Hotel, amounting to 111 people. The sampling method that used is saturated sampling method. The output of this research have been acquired from interviews and deployment research questionnaires to the Sinabung Hills Hotel Berastagi staffs. The analysis method makes use of a double linear regression method.The results of the study partially show that work discipline and motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Sinabung Hills Hotel Berastagi. It may be recapitulate that work discipline has an leverage of 30.63% on staffs performance without caring to other variables that not examined in this research. While motivation has an effect of 68.93% on employee performance without paying attention to other variables not examined in this research.
