Turnover is the exit of labor in a company within a certain period of time. High turnover in a business we can see from how much desire or intention of employees to quit the job. How much intention to get out is usually called turnover intention. This can have a negative impact on employee performance so that it affects the activities that exist in an organization if not handled properly. This study aims to determine the factors that cause turnover intention, the impact of turnover intention, and reasons to persist despite having a turnover intention in Harris Resort Waterfront Batam. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method. The results of this study are the main factors causing turnover intention is salary and career development. While the impact of turnover intention is a change in good work behavior that decreases performance and employee motivation and also in terms of expenses.
