Abstract

The relationship between the development of Human Resources strategy in improving performance and the factors that affect the performance of the employees of the Food and Beverage Service Department at Ibis Styles Medan Pattimura. Collecting data using observation, interviews and documentation. This data analysis technique uses descriptive qualitative research. The development of a Human Resources strategy in improving the performance of the Food and Beverage Service Department employees at Ibis Styles Medan Pattimura is closely related. Based on the results of interviews that have been carried out, the factors that influence the increase in employee performance are: Training, Rewards, Promotion, Evaluation, Employee gathering, Traveling together, Providing motivation, Celebrating birthdays, The important role of a strategic leader is Conducting training activities, Giving rewards every 6 months to employees with the best work from all employees, Providing motivation to all employees who have difficulties in their work, Promotions that are carried out once a year as well as appointments from daily workers to staff, Employee gatherings held every three months to strengthen relations between employees.
