In the study using the Quantitative Method. This research was conducted at the Garuda Plaza Hotel and Convention Medan, which is located on Jl. Sisingamangaraja No.18, Mesjid Kec. Medan City, Medan City, North Sumatra. Data collection techniques through questionnaires and observation. The research data was obtained by means of a questionnaire to a number of samples, with employees involved in the process and also obtained from the literature review. From the research conducted by the author, it can be concluded that Punishment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, the correlation and regression hypothesis will be tested between the punishment variable on employee performance at the Garuda Plaza Hotel and Convention Medan using a 95% confidence level. So this shows that the level of punishment on employee performance at Garuda Plaza Hotel Medan is a positive and significant influence.
