Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between work discipline and employee performance at Khas Parapat Hotel. The object of research is located in one of the hotels in Parapat City. The research method used is a quantitative method using the Descriptive Statistical Test and the Kendall's Tau Correlation Test which has the aim of testing the relationship between the two variables with ordinal data through primary data collection, namely by distributing questionnaires to 14 employees, processing the data using SPSS 25.00 tools. . By testing validity, reliability, frequency distribution analysis, descriptive statistical test, and Kendall's tau test. The results showed the results of descriptive statistical tests with an average value of 3.21 and it was known that the relationship between work discipline and performance had a significant (significant) relationship with employee performance of 0.000 < 0.01. And it is known that the correlation coefficient value is 0.832 which shows the relationship between the two variables is very strong.
