The workload standards assigned to employees are very important. If the workload given to employees exceeds the limits of their abilities, it can cause employee performance to decrease. This study aims to determine the effect of workload on the performance of room attendants at Sapadia Hotel Siantar. The research method used is a quantitative approach with descriptive statistical analysis and a simple linear regression test. Sample determination using the saturated sample technique, namely conducting experiments on 15 respondents by processing data using the SPSS 25.0 tool. The data collection technique is carried out by distributing questionnaires to all attendant rooms. Hypothesis testing is carried out by t-test. The results showed that the workload had a significant influence with room attendant performance of 0.003 < 0.05. The magnitude of the correlation value is 0.793 and the dtermination coefficient (R2) is obtained by 0.428 which means that the influence of the free variable (workload) on the bound variable (performance) is 42.8%.
